Humans have always been better at killing than any other species on earth, mounting ourselves on the top of the food chain. This very same supremacy which led to our towering height led to an abrupt fall, sparking World War Three... mutual nuclear annihilation. How many survived outside of moscow is simply unknown.

The year is 2034. An entire generation has been born and raised underground. Many have yet to even see the sun or return to the surface, the air filled with the puss of twenty odd years ago. The surface wasn't ours anymore. "День, когда умер мир" still echoes through the veins of the Metro. Factions forged, a constant war amongst ourselves and the creatures of this new world we found ourselves in is the norm.

Your journey takes you from the forgotten catacombs beneath the subway to the desolate wastelands above. It is time to survive, and give in to our new spot in the new world.
