Star Wars: Foundations of an Empire

It has been almost 300 years since the Jedi Civil war devastated the galaxy, and Darth Revan disappeared into unknown space. In that time, the Republic has known a period of relative peace, and until recently, the Sith had been believed to be destroyed. 40 years ago, the Sith Empire made public it's return, striking first at Korriban, before sweeping across the galaxy. The devastating war came to an end with the sacking of Coruscant, and the subsequent treaty, 10 years ago. The year is now 3643 BBY, and the galaxy is falling apart at the seams. Alderaan and Ord Mantell are embroiled in civil wars, and the Sith Empire have invaded Balmorra. While open war has not been resumed, tensions are high, with both powers supporting opposing sides in these conflicts, in an attempt to undermine and weaken each other.
