The year is 2012 and life is great, especially in an average American city somewhere along the Texas-Oklahoma border. Some theorists have claimed that the world will end this year, but those are just rumors and crackpot theories, right?

Suddenly, life changed for the worse. Families went from sitting down to dinner to feasting on each other as a plague started to spread across the nation, reanimating the dead and infecting the living wherever it went.

Almost a decade later and society is starting to heal, although the ruins of America are still a lawless and dangerous place, with constant conflict between the good and the evil. This is the new world; this is Life After the End.
