And for centuries we've been living swaddled in darkness; cloaked in the shadows of secret, seedy bar corners, festering into nothing while society pushed us to the brink of extinction.
But we survived.
And now we live in secret, special places. Places like Soft Shores, right on the choppy coast of Devon, where we are free to live, free to learn, and free to teach. And that's exactly what we do.
Because nestled right in the centre of Soft Shores, is Soft Shores High (or SSH). The teachers here are veterans from the Old Times, having lived through the darkest moments of our supernatural history. And the students - whether centuries old and still new to their magic, or young and soft and impressionable – are all too grateful for their mentors.
But something sinister is brewing, far past the mountains bordering our safe haven.
