Redemption | Roleplay

In a world doomed to be overan by bloodthirsty monsters, humans with extraordinary abilities are chosen to decide the fate of the world. The only problem is, this has been going on decades any each selectee is slaughtered without a trace. This year group would be different, not because of some stupid prophecy given by a deranged old lunatic on his deathbed, but because they had to. The monsters were contained on an island and sent sacrifices to quell their insatiable hunger but each year they grew tired and in just four more years they'd escape. So now, a new group has been selected.

Will you be the one to vanquish the seemingly endless supply of beast? Or will you watch the world burn as you're torn to shreds like the rest of their helpless victims.
