Inspired by Twitch Plays Pokemon, Hivewired allows everyone to control the same game at the same time but for real time games rather than turn based.

The way it works is, the game is streamed via screen sharing in the video channel, and you download a virtual controller app to participate in controlling it in real time. The virtual controller sends the input to a server which collects the input state of each button from every connected and active user, and essentially tallies them as "votes", so if 3 users are connected and 2 of them are pressing the A button, the final input state will have the A button pressed, and this will then get sent to the game.
