Douglass Commonwealth

A procedural roleplay sever based on the Government of Washington, DC if it became a state. The roleplay will start on January 2, 2025 (IRP, IRL Date TBD based on member count) when the newly elected members of the General Assembly are sworn in. In the early stages the newest members will join as Representatives of the Douglass Commonwealth General Assembly, as the server grows the possibility to be elected as Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, and other executive offices. Members of the general assembly are welcome to create constitutional amendments, draft Acts (or laws) and Resolutions, and perform other duties as a state legislator, or other higher state office.
