Our tale begins in Bayou Noir, a small, forgotten town nestled in the crook of the bayou's arm, surrounded by ancient forests and murky waters. It's a place where the veil between our world and the mystical is as thin as the Spanish moss drapin' from the trees, where folks have learned to keep their secrets close and their silver closer. Now, in Bayou Noir, we got us a delicate balance. The werewolves, they reign under the light of the full moon, roamin' the swamps and the woodlands, their howls echoing through the still night air. The vampires, they prefer the quiet comfort of the townsfolk's homes, their aristocratic charm and their sweet southern drawl hiding their true nature from unsuspecting guests. Then we got the witches, masters of the ancient arts, drawing their power from the bayou itself, keepin' to themselves mostly, but they're the ones you go to when you need somethin' a little... supernatural. But things are a-changin' in Bayou Noir. The balance that's been kept for centuries is teeterin' on the brink. An old power is resurfacin', stirrin' up trouble between the werewolves, vampires, and witches. And I reckon, it's gonna take a newcomer, someone with fresh eyes, to set things right. Or maybe, just maybe, push it over the edge.
