Established 8-15-21! AGES 21+ ONLY Our Story... ︰- ̗̀ ➛ Earth-1145. A similar timeline to Earth-199999, what you might call the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, Mutants have always been in this Earth, and so has affected the flow of history. SHIELD was formed in 1949 by Howard Stark and Peggy Carter, an effort to create a covert agency designed to protect the world from the unknown. Super soldiers, mysterious weapons and artifacts, the rising mutant population... All of this fell under their jurisdiction. Unfortunately, HYDRA still had some survivors, and they infiltrated SHIELD, biding their time... Founded in the mid 1990's, the Charles Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters has been a safe haven for young mutants for nearly three decades. His first class of students, which included Ororo Munroe, Scott Summers, Jean Grey, and a very young Bobby Drake, undertook academic pursuits, as well as training to use their mutant abilities in combat as necessary. Over time, the school's function has shifted back toward being a place for displaced mutant youth, with the teachers being the former students of Charles Xavier, and Ororo Munroe acting as headmistress. That said, those teachers, still sometimes called the "X-Men" do still get into the mix in mutant affairs where their efforts are needed, whether it be attempting to defend against threats from mutant or human extremist groups, though their involvement is concealed both from the public, and the students themselves. The Avengers continue their work with the reformed SHIELD since the fall of Hydra. The X-Men do their best to keep the threats from evil mutants in check. The government has passed the Mutant Registration Act, essentially creating legal segregation once again. But now a new threat arises... ︰- ̗̀ ➛Our story begins here.
